The choice

a tragic comedy based on Grigoriy Gorin’s play “Forget Herostratus!”

In 356 BC the Temple of Artemis was burned down. It was being constructed for 120 years. The temple was so beautiful that it became one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. It could stand for thousands of years, but on July 21, 356 BC Herostratus burned the temple down. The arsonist must be sued, but the trial isn’t happening. Why? A modern man goes into the past to understand – how beginning with small deeds the big evil enters the world.

The performance lasts for about 1 hour and 40 minutes without intermission.
